Respondents in all petitions COMMON PRAYER : Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to dispose the petitions for conferment of permanent status in CPS Nos.54, 47, 50 and 53 of 2011 filed by the petitioners before the first respondent within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The petitioners in these Writ Petitions, filed petitions before the first respondent herein seeking conferment of permanent status. The petitions were filed way back in the year 2011. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Their grievance is that they are still kept pending, even though more than seven years have gone by. Therefore, this Court directs the first respondent to dispose of the petitions filed by the petitioners herein seeking conferment of permanent status, on merits in accordance with law, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.
