ORDER

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to remand the property that has been recovered or seized from the accused person, which is the subject matter of the complaint. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the accused has been arrested in this matter and later, based upon his confession, the respondent police recovered the articles, which has not been remanded to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Madurai. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent submitted that no recovery has been made so far and no person has been identified as accused and so far, 7 witnesses' statements have been recorded and 18 suspected persons have been enquired. He further submitted that within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, investigation will be completed and the final report will be filed.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of this case and the oldness of the matter, there shall be a direction to the respondent herein to complete the investigation and file a final report before the concerned Court within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Compliance report shall be submitted to this Registry thereafter.
