The Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 8.4.2025 to issue patta in favour of the Petitioner in respect of the survey No.370/2 around 1200 sq.ft belongs 77th Plot, house site sitated at Velampatti Village, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District. 2.According to the Petitioner, he purchased the subject property from one Murugesan under registered sale deed, dated 3.8.2022. The said Murugesan in turn had purchased the said property under registered sale deed from one Rathinammal.When the Petitioner applied for patta in respect of the property purchased by him, he was informed that in all revenue records, the property was classified as ''Left Over'' and hence the Revenue Divisional Officer is competent authority to consider the representation of the Petitioner.
Therefore, the Petitioner submitted his representation before the first respondent seeking issuance of patta. The same has not been considered so far. Hence the Petitioner is before this Court for the relief stated supra. 4.In view of the same, without going into the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the Petitioner, dated 7.4.
parties, if any, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of a copy of this order.
4.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
