(Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.) The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to remove the illegal encroachment made by the fifth respondent in common pathway in Survey No. 216/47, Sengulam Village, Aruppukottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District, within a time frame.
2. By producing the proceedings of the third respondent - Tahsildar, Aruppukottai Taluk, in Na.Ka.No.A2/2120/2021, dated 07.04.2022, addressed to the second respondent - Revenue Divisional Officer, the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 4 submitted that pursuant 2/4
to the filing of this Writ Petition, the encroachments made by the fifth respondent have been removed on 15.03.2022 by the authorities concerned. The aforesaid submission and the communication dated 07.04.2022 are not refuted by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
