O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to participate in the certificate verification and other selection process for the recruitment to the post of Assistant Director of Industrial Safety and Health in the Combined Engineering Services Examination, in pursuant to the notification in Notification No.18/2019, dated 29.05.2019.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he was participated in the selection process to the post of Assistant Director of Industrial Safety and Health in the Combined Engineering Services Examination. However, he was not called for certificate verification. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has participated in the selection process to the post of Assistant Director of Industrial Safety and Health in the Combined Engineering Services Examination. Thereafter, by proceedings dated 12.02.2020, a list of selected candidates was published, except for the post of Assistant Director of Industrial Safety and Health. Hence, this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to publish the result for the post of Assistant Director of Industrial Safety and Health.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

Admittedly, the respondents have issued a notification in Notification No.18/2019, dated 29.05.2019, calling for applications from the eligible candidates for direct recruitment for the posts included in Combined Engineering Services Examination. The grievance of the petitioner is that the result was published in all the posts, except the post 3/5

of Assistant Director of Industrial Safety and Health. Hence, this Court directs the respondents to publish the result for the post of Assistant Director of Industrial Safety and Health, if not already published.
