ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the second respondent to pass suitable orders on his application seeking sub-division and transfer of patta in favour of the individual purchaser of the property from him.

2. Heard the arguments of Mr.N.Sundaresan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the land comprised in S.No.149/2A2, 2B1A in Keelapaguthi Village,Kadavoor Taluk, Karur District. The said property along with the adjacent property were clubbed together and lay out was formed. After getting necessary approval from the authorities concerned, the petitioner sold the property to the individual purchasers. However, patta has not been transferred in the name of the individual purchasers. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation before the second respondent on 31.09.2024 seeking transfer of patta in favour of the 2/5

individual purchasers from the petitioner. The said representation has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come forward before this Court.

4. Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, who took notice for the respondents, would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered on merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, without going into the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31.09.2024 and pass final orders on merits within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
