RESPONDENTS in WP(MD) No.14359 of 2017 Prayer in in WP(MD) No.14359 of 2017:- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to supersede the current management committee of sourashtra college council headed by the 5th respondent and appoint a special officer under section 34 A of tamil nadu societies Registriation Act, 1975 to conduct a fair election within a stipulated time.

ORDER : This Writ petition coming on friday the Twenty Second day of December 2017 upon perusing the petition the petition and the affidavit filed in support there of the order of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.M.Chandrasekaran, Advocate for the

petitioner, and of Mr.C.Selvaraj, Special Government Pleader for R1 to R4 and of Mr.A.R.Sethupathy Advocate for the 5th respondent and the Court made the following order:- This writ petition has been posted under the caption "for reporting compliance".

2. Mr.K.Mu.Muthu, learned Advocate would submit that as per the order of this Court dated 23.08.2017, an election was conducted. He acted as an observer during the election and a report was also filed before the registry. The submission of the learned counsel is recorded.

3. It is seen that at the time of appointing the observer, this Court fixed the initial remuneration of Rs.30,000/-(Rupees Thirty Thousand only) and it was reported to have been paid.

4. In the light of the above facts, the fifth respondent is directed to pay Additional remuneration of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) to the observer within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. sd/- Assistant Registrar(CO) / TRUE COPY / Sub-Assistant Registrar TO 1.THE SECRETARY TO THE GOVERNMENT, COMMERCIAL TAXES AND REGISTRATION DEPARTMENT, FORT ST.
