Respondents Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission for the Kumbabishekam festival of Manoor Shri La Shri Mahan Deivanayaga Swamigal Jeevasamathi at Manoor, Palani Taluk, Dindigal District dated 28.10.2020 & 29.10.2020, based on the petitioner's application dated 29.09.2020.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.The petitioner wants the petition mentioned religious event to be conducted. It appears that there are some objections from rival classes. In a connected matter filed by the rival party, I had directed the jurisdicational Tahsildar to convene a peace committee meeting and ensure that the event is conducted. I had made it clear that no one will be entitled for first respect or first honour. Therefore, I am of the view that the present Writ Petition can also be disposed of on the same lines.
3.The Jurisdicational Tahsildar shall convene a peace committee meeting. The third respondent will also associate himself in the process. All the stakeholders will be invited for the peace https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.14160 of 2020 committee meeting and all possible steps should be taken to ensure that the petition mentioned religious event is conducted in a smooth manner.
4. With this direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
