ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to pass suitable orders on his application for making bulk sub division and issue change of patta in individual names in respect of the lands sold by him.
2.Heard the arguments of Mr.N.Sundaresan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Gangadharan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.According to the petitioner, he owned lands to an extent of 1 acre and 90 cents in Survey Nos.149/1 and 149/2A1 in Keelapaguthi Village, Kadavoor Taluk, Karur District. The lands owned by the petitioner were clubbed together with other adjacent lands and a layout
was formed and sold to number of persons. After obtaining necessary approvals from Real Estate Regulatory Authority, the petitioner sold his properties to various persons. However, patta has not been issued in the names of the individual purchasers. In this regard, one Vengudasamy and five others submitted a representation before the second respondent. Subsequently, the second respondent initiated an enquiry in the application submitted by Vengudasamy and others in his proceedings in Na.Ka.C1/15496/2024, dated 10.10.2024 and issued notice to the petitioner for enquiry on 18.10.2022. Though enquiry was initiated as early as October 2024, till date the same has not been completed and no final orders have been passed. Hence the petitioner has come up before this Court with the above mentioned prayer.
4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the enquiry initiated by the second respondent will be completed within a period stipulated by this Court. 5.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by
the petitioner, is inclined to direct the second respondent to complete the enquiry initiated by him in his proceedings in Na.Ka.C1/15496/2024 and pass final orders within a period twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
