ORDER

This civil revision petition is filed for a direction to the learned Sub Judge, Kuzhithurai to dispose RCA No.2 of 2021 within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits the petitioner filed HRCOP.No.1 of 2012 for evicting the respondent from the suit premises and it was allowed on 20.12.2016. The respondent was directed to evict the premises. Challenging the same, the respondent filed an appeal in RCA.No.6 of 2017 before the Sub Court, Nagercoil. However, it was forwarded to the Sub Court, Kuzhithurai due to jurisdiction and the same was renumbered as RCA.No.2 of 2021. The case is being adjourned for no reason and there is no progress.

3.The rent control proceedings were initiated in the year 2016 and HRCOP was allowed as early as on 20.12.2016. The appeal was also filed in the year 2017 and it was re-numbered as RCA No.2 of 2021 before the Sub Court, Kuzhithurai and there is no progress in the case. Therefore the Sub Judge, Kuzhithurai is directed to dispose of the RCA.No.2 of 2021 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
