ORDER
This criminal original petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in crime No.967 of 2020 for the offence under Sections 307 and 302 IPC from the file of the seventh respondent to the file of the third respondent and to file final report, within a time frame.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's mother, namely, Rajalakshmi, was found dead in a suspicious manner, inside the house. There were two bedsheets covered up over the body. He would further submit that there is no damage in the door and there is no evidence to loot the household things and therefore, the petitioner has a strong suspicious that there must be two or three persons were involved in the crime, including one Santha. Therefore, the petitioner filed this criminal original petition to transfer of investigation in crime No.967 of 2020 for the offence under Sections 307 and 302 IPC from the file of the seventh respondent to the file of the third respondent and to file final report.
3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents has filed the status report.
4.On perusing the status report, this Court satisfied that the investigation is going on in the right direction. However, the third respondent is directed to complete the investigation in crime No.967 of 2020 and file a final report before the concerned Court, as expeditiously as possible. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
