PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of BNSS Act, 2023, To issue a direction, to directing the 2nd respondent to alter the FIR in Crime No. 497 of 2025 dt. 13.12.2025 on the file of the 2nd respondent police in respect of petitioners age 30 yrs instead of 29 and vehicle registration number mentioned as Honda Deo TN 60 BX 8646 instead of Honda Deo TN 60 AZ 8646 based on the petitioner's representation dated 18.02.2026 and pass any further or other orders.

ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the defacto complainant in Crime No. 497 of 2025, on the file of the second respondent police, seeking a direction to the concerned police to alter the age and the vehicle number in the FIR.

2. In making such a request, the petitioner submitted a representation to the second respondent on 18.02.2026 by way of registered post. Since there was no response, the present petition has been filed.

3. In such circumstances, there shall be a direction to the second respondent police to verify the documents annexed by the petitioner, and if they are satisfied, they are directed to file an alteration report.

4. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
