Prayer : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the second respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry on the basis of the complaint lodged by the third respondent without due process of law. O R D E R

The petitioner, who is the daughter of the third respondent, has approached this Court that the second respondent police is harassing her under the guise of an enquiry.

2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner had a love affair with one Syed Raja and she also got married. However, on the complaint of the third respondent, the second respondent police is harassing her.

3.Since it is reported that the petitioner got married with another person, the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police and satisfy the respondent police that they have married without any threat or coercion by the said Syed Raja and it was a valid marriage. In the event, if there was any marriage between the petitioner with the said Syed Raja, the respondent police shall not harass the petitioner. 2/4
