ORDER

This petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the impugned FIR in Crime No.6 of 2018 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same as illegal.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners. 3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that based on the direction given by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Madurai, the first respondent has registered a case in Crime No.6 of 2018 for an alleged offence under Sections 406, 420 and 506 (i) I.P.C against the petitioners herein and others. She further submitted that the investigation is almost completed and the final report will be filed within a period of four weeks. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Crl.O.P(MD).No.12302 of 2020 4.Considering the fact that the investigation is almost over, this Court cannot quash the First Information Report at this stage. However, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
