ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/ accused, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offence punishable under Sections 147,148,294(b),324 and 506(ii) of IPC r/w. section 25(1A) of Arms Act, 1959 in Crime No.152 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution as per the de-facto complainant is that during temple festival, the petitioners herein abused and assaulted the defacto complainant and also threatened with dire consequences, hence the case.

3. Heard both side and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report. It is reported that four similar previous cases are pending against the petitioner. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

4. Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner is having four similar previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Hence the petition stands dismissed.
