[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to extend the ordinary leave for another 90 days to the petitioner for taking medical treatment based on the petitioner's wife's representation, dated 24.09.2020. 2.Mr.M.Seeni Sulthan, learned counsel for the petitioner would state that after filing this writ petition, the representation of the petitioner was rejected by the second respondent and thereafter, the petitioner voluntarily surrendered before the jail authorities and now he is in prison.

3.In the light of the above statement, we are of the opinion that the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.14312 of 2020 infructuous. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous.
