*********** [Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.] The petitioner filed this Writ Petition to direct the respondents to permit him to conduct light music programme and other related cultural programmes, from 10.00 PM on 11.08.2017 to 05.00 AM, on 12.08.2017, on the eve of "Sri Sudalaiyandavar Temple Festival", situated in Kalanthapanai, Valliyur Taluk, Tirunelveli District.

2. The representation submitted by the petitioner for grant of permission is now pending before the third respondent.

3. We direct the third respondent to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 28.07.2017 on merits and as per law, as expeditiously as possible and in any case, on or before 05.08.2017.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
