O R D E R
This petition is filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the Orchestra and the Karakattam and Aadalum Paadalum programme on the eve of Sri Maari Amman Temple at Mahadevrpatti Village, Kalingappatti post, Sankarankovil taluk, Tenkasi District, which is to be held on 04.05.2025 and 06.05.2025, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.04.2025.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the resident of the village and the villagers decided to conduct temple festival and thereby, they decided to conduct Orchestra, Karakattam and Adal Padal programme on 04.05.2025 and 06.05.2025. Hence, he sent a representation to the second respondent on 20.04.2024, but the same has not been considered. Therefore, he filed this petition. Further, the petitioner undertakes to conduct Orchestra, Karakattam and Adal Padal programme without any law and order issue. Page No. 2 of 5

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents would submit that they have not received any representation from the petitioner for conducing Orchestra, Karakattam and Adal Padal programme on 04.05.2025 and 06.05.2025. If any representation received from the petitioner, they will consider the same positively.
4. This Court heard both sides and perused the records.
5. According to the petitioner, he sent a representation to the second respondent to grant permission for conducting Orchestra, Karakattam and Adal Padal programme on 04.05.2025 and 06.05.2025, but the same has not been considered. According to the second respondent, they have not received any representation so far. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition and the receipt of the representation of the petitioner also denied by the second respondent and the petitioner has not also produced any documents to prove that the representation of the petitioner was received by the second respondent, this Court directs the petitioner to appear before the second respondent on 01.05.2025 and submit a fresh representation and thereafter, the second respondent is directed to take appropriate decision by imposing appropriate conditions in accordance Page No. 3 of 5
with law without any delay.
6. With the above said directions and observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
