O R D E R

This writ petition is filed seeking for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to forthwith conduct survey, measurement and sub-division of the petitioner's patta land vide Patta No.1863 measuring 0.00.36 comprised in S.No.46/40 situated in Veerapandi Village, Palanichettipati, Theni District, as per Doc.No.4140/2003 dated 21.10.2003.

2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The case of the petitioner is that she purchased the property to an extent of 0.00.36 Hec. in S.No.46/40 situated at Veerapandi Village, Palanichettipati, Theni District, by a registered sale deed dated 21.10.2003. Thereafter, she was issued with patta and subsequently, she filed an application to the first respondent on 10.04.2017 to measure the property. Since no action has been taken, the presenet writ petition.

4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner dated 10.04.2017 and take appropriate action, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, as expeditiously as possible, and pass orders, preferably, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
