PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the second respondent to provide necessary police protection on 01.06.2023 for marriage and to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the second respondent to provide necessary police protection on 01.06.2023 for conducting the petitioner's daughter marriage and to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that there is a property dispute pending between the petitioner and the third respondent and both of them are close relatives. Due to the same, the third respondent threatened the petitioner by stating that he will stop the marriage of the petitioner's daughter, which is scheduled to be held on 01.06.2023. Therefore, the petitioner preferred an online complaint on 22.05.2023 seeking police protection. However, there is no action taken by the official respondents. Hence, the petitioner filed the present petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the official respondents would submit that the complaint preferred by the petitioner is pending for enquiry and the same will be completed within two days.

4.In view of the above submission, the official respondents are directed to conduct enquiry and pass appropriate orders within two days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
