ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) The prayer in this writ petition is for a Mandamus, directing the 1st to 4th respondents to take necessary action against the 5th and 6th respondents on the basis of the order passed by the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.3466/2024/A5 dated 11.02.2026 for removal the illegal encroachment on the Government Poramboke land i.e., a narrow lane situated in Survey Nos.95/5 and 95/9 in Sellayipuram, Veerapandi Village, Madurai North at Madurai District, within a time frame.

2. Learned Counsel for Government of Tamilnadu would submit that action has been taken by the respondents by issuing order under Section 6 of the Tamilnadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 and further proceedings for removal of encroachments will be completed within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Recording the above submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to remove the encroachments in Survey Nos.95/5 and 95/9 in Sellayipuram, Veerapandi Village, Madurai North at Madurai District, by due process of law, after affording opportunity to the private respondents and all other parties concerned, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
