ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.1411 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police and lay the final report at the earliest.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioners are accused in Crime No.1411 of 2015. On 11.12.2015, a case was registered by the respondent police against the petitioners for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148 and 324 I.P.C. He would further submit that the respondent police has not conducted the investigation in a proper manner and they have not filed a charge sheet till date.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that the investigation has been completed and the final report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Madurai, on 31.12.2015, however, the same has not been taken on file. 4.Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the respondent is directed to take steps to number the final report at the earliest.

5. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
