ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed for quashing the proceedings in C.C.No.95 of 2015 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.V, Tirunelveli, for the offences under Sections 294(b), 498(A) and 506(i) of I.P.C.

2.Muthamilselvi is the defacto complainant. The defacto complainant appeared before this Court through video conferencing. She has been duly identified by the first respondent. The defacto complainant states that she has rejoined the husband and that she does not want to pursue the prosecution. Since the parties have https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/4

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.11374 of 2020 buried the hatchet, no purpose will be served in continuing the prosecution. The impugned proceedings stand quashed. The criminal original petition is allowed.
