ORDER
Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.The writ petitioner was originally working as B.T.Assistant in the Municipal Middle School, Palani Adivaram. Later, she was transferred to Government Higher Secondary School, Allinagaram. The petitioner got appointed only in the year 2008. Therefore, she came under the new contributory pension scheme. Her original CPS number was 980219/MUEE. Following her transfer to Education Department, her subscription was credited to account No.980219/EDN. Subsequently, it turned out that this number was not existing in the Account Books of the Government data centre and hence, a new number was allotted ie., 7204011/EDN. The petitioner was not satisfied with the same and that led to the filing of the present writ petition. 2/4
3.The respondents have filed counter affidavit categorically clarifying that the writ petitioner's service rights will in any way be affected and that by crediting the subscription to the new account number, no prejudice will be caused. However, the petitioner was not happy with the same. Therefore, communication dated 25.10.2021 has been issued indicating that the subscription will be credited to her old account number namely, 980219/MUEE. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that it should be corrected as 980219/EDN. When respondents have already faced difficulty, it would not be proper call upon them to once again make a modification. It is once again clarified that by crediting the petitioner's subscription to her number, no prejudice will be caused.
4.Recording the communication bearing Na.Ka.No.106/2021, dated 25.10.2021 issued by the Headmaster (In-charge), Government Higher Secondary School, Allinagarm addressed to the Commissioner, Government Data Centre, Chennai , the writ petition is disposed of.
