Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the 2nd and 3rd respondent to reclassify the petitioner's land in Survey No.708 based on the petitioner's representation, dated 21.04.2025.

ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to reclassify the land in Survey No.708, by considering his representation, dated 21.04.2025.
2. According to the petitioner, the land situate in Survey No.708 in Panaiyadipatti Village, Vembakottai Taluk, Virudhunagar District, was originally classified in the name of the petitioner's grandfather Venkadasamy Nayakar. However, during UDR scheme, the property has been wrongly classified as Government Poramboke. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation before the second respondent on 21.04.2025, seeking rectification of the error that had crept in during UDR proceedings. Along with the representation, the petitioner also submitted a copy of the SLR that stood in the name of his grandfather. The said representation has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come forward before this Court by way of this Writ Petition.
3. Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents, would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered by the second respondent on its own merits within a time stipulated by this Court.
4. In view of the said submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 21.04.2025, and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5. Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. 02.06.2025 NCC :
