This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent No.7 to grant permission to the petitioner to celebrate temple festival on 05.08.2022 at Arulmighu Sri Karunkuzhi Karuppusamy Temple, Nambampatty, Viralimalai Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by considering the 2/5
petitioner's representation dated 02.06.2022 and peace committee proceedings of the third respondent dated 19.04.2022.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner reports no instructions, since the petitioner has collected the papers from him.
3. The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is to direct the respondent No.7 to grant permission to the petitioner to celebrate the festival on 05.08.2022 in the aforementioned Temple. However, the period was over much earlier. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case.
4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
