O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking to strike off the proceedings against the petitioners in D.V.C.No.12 of 2023 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Palani.

2. The marriage between the petitioner and the first respondent was solemnized on 09.12.2016 and out of the wedlock, they have been blessed with a female child. Due to matrimonial disputes between the parties, the first respondent herein filed a case under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act in D.V.C.No.12 of 2023 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Palani.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is ready to pay a sum of Rs.6,00,000/- (Rupees Six Lakhs only) to his wife and child as permanent alimony. It is further submitted that the petitioner has deposited the said sum in the name of the female child in Indian Overseas 2/4

Bank under the interest-bearing deposit and has produced the receipt before this Court.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent has no serious objection to striking off the proceedings in D.V.C.No.12 of 2023 against the petitioners.

5. In view of the above, this Civil Revision Petition stands allowed and the proceedings in D.V.C.No.12 of 2023 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Palani, are hereby struck off.
