*********** By consent of both sides, this writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner has suffered an order dated 29.09.2014, treating the 219 days of suspension period as leave period. The said order has been passed by the Registrar of Co-operative Societies (Housing) / third respondent herein. Aggrieved by the same, he has preferred an appeal before the Registrar of Co-operative Societies / the second respondent herein. Since the same is pending for quiet a long time, the petitioner has come before this Court seeking a direction to dispose of the appeal as expeditiously as possible.

3. Mr.R.Karthikeyan, the learned Additional Government Pleader, after taking notice, submitted on instructions, that the

appeal pending on the file of the second respondent will be disposed of within three months time.

4. Since the appeal is pending from 22.12.2015, the second respondent is hereby directed to dispose of the pending appeal within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
