ORDER

The petitioner has filed a writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent to complete the enquiry initiated by him in his proceedings in Na.Ka.CpaA/276(55564)/2024/Aa3 concerning the properties of the petitioner situated in Survey Nos. 20/3B2A2 and 20/3B2B2 at Udayathoor Village, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.P.Vetrivel, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.It is the case of the petitioner that he purchased the properties situated in Survey Nos.20/3B2A2 and 20/3B2B2 under two registered documents dated 27.10.2023. The third parties fraudulently obtained patta in their names and attempted to encroach the properties of the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation before the respondent on 21.09.2024 seeking cancellation of patta illegally issued in the names of third parties. Based on the said representation, the

respondent initiated an enquiry in his proceedings in Na.Ka.CpaA/276(55564)/2024/Aa3 and same has not been completed. Therefore, the petitioner has come before this Court. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent would submit that the enquiry date is fixed on 10.06.2025 and the same will be completed within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the respondent is directed to complete the enquiry and pass final orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to state that the respondent shall issue notice to all interested parties, including the petitioner. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
