ORDER

The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records from the 2nd respondent in his proceedings in C.No.R2/150/2017, dated 27.07.2017 to quash the same and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to conduct proper chest measurement and permit the petitioner (En No.3102549) to participate in the subsequent tests for the post of Grade II Police Constable-2017.

during physical efficiency test, the petitioner's chest had not been measured properly, therefore, the impugned order is liable to be set aside.

3.Considering the said submission, this Court directed the learned Additional Advocate General to produce the videographs taken during selection to the aforementioned posts. 4.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the videogrpahs in respect of chest measurement of the petitioner has been displayed before this Court in the presence of the petitioner and his counsel. The video clipping/recording shows that although after expansion, the chest of the petitioner was measured as 87 cms, before expansion, it was only 80 cms which is running shortage of 1 cm, hence, this Court is not inclined to entertain the prayer of the petitioner. Accordingly, this Writ Petition fails and the same is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
