This writ petition is filed seeking for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the property situated in Natham Survey No.493/24 at Konnaiyampatti Village, Karaiyur Firka, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai District by considering the representation dated 06.03.2017.
2.Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The petitioner would state that 6 cents of land situated in Natham Survey No.493/24 at Konnaiyampatti Village, Karaiyur Firka, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, is his ancestral property. In the year 2007, a partion had taken place and this property was allotted to the petitioner's father and thereafter, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
they constructed a house and also obtained electricity service connection. But so far patta was not issued. Hence, a representation was sent on 06.03.2017 to issue patta. Since no action has been taken, the present writ petition. 4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.03.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all the necessary parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
