(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH.J.,) This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondent Nos.1 and 2 to give their permission to conduct the 'Adal Padal' function festival, which is the religious ceremony in petitioner's village, on 31.05.2023 by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.05.2023.

2. Mr.A.Kannan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner is not a member of the Temple Committee and he has no locus standi to seek permission to conduct Aadal Padal. He would further submit that one of the member of the Temple Committee viz., Ganesan has given a complaint in CSR No.482 of 2023 against the petitioner raising objections for conducting the program by the petitioner.

3.In this background, we do not intend to consider the prayer sought for by the petitioner as he has no locus standi to file the Writ Petition. In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed.
