O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed directing the second respondent to conduct preliminary enquiry on the petitioner's complaint dated 02.08.2017.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner has given a complaint to the second respondent police alleging forgery of some documents and the said complaint has not been enquired by the second respondent. Therefore, the petitioner has filed this present petition.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that already the parties have approached the concerned revenue authority by way of revision petition seeking cancellation of Patta and the said revision petition is now pending before the District Revenue Officer, Pudukkottai.

Hence, the complaint given by the petitioner was closed.

4.Since the complaint given by the petitioner was enquired and closed, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in the present petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
