ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent Police, in connection with a case in Crime No: Not known, for the offence punishable under Section 379 IPC, has filed this petition seeking anticipatory bail. 1/3

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner snatched the defacto complainant's gold chain while he was taking bath along with his friends at Saravana Poigai at Thirupparakundram Temple. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Further, he submits that the petitioner just found the gold chain at Saravana Poigai at Thirupparankundram Temple and he had also handed over the same to the respondent police. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police submits that respondent police has not registered any case as against the petitioner and there is no petition enquiry pending against him.

5. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
