Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal pending on file under Section 12 of the Patta Pass Book Act dated 15.05.2017 in respect of property situated in Survey No.605/1 at Veeranampatti village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District within stipulated period as fixed by this Court.

The petitioner seeks for a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal pending filed under Section 12 of the Patta Pass Book Act, dated 15.05.2017.
2.Mr.C.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The petitioner would state that he is the owner of the property in Survey No.605/1 situated at Veeranampatti village, Kulithalai Taluk, Karur District. The petitioner would allege that one Subhugounder has no right over the property, but by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
colluding with some revenue officials, his name was included as one of the pattathars. Hence, the petitioner preferred an appeal to the first respondent. Since no progress in the said appeal, the present writ petition.
4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 15.05.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
