O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to remove the name of the petitioner from history sheet in H.S.No.574 of 2009 forthwith on the file of the 3rd respondent. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that based on the permission accorded by the second respondent, a history sheet was opened in the name of the petitioner with regard to the case in Crime No.250 of 2005. Now, the case was taken on file by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kumbakonam in C.C.No.165 of 2006 and the petitioner was acquitted by an order dated 14.07.2018. On acquittal, the petitioner made a representation dated 13.11.2019 to the respondent police for removing his name from history sheet. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.11.2019 will be considered by the respondent police within a period of two weeks.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents police are directed to dispose of the representation of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
