O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.] The petitioner has filed this habeas corpus petition seeking direction to the respondents to produce his sister, namely, Ponmalar, wife of Ramakrishnan, aged about 30 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the detenue - Ponmalar along with her father - Arumugam appeared before this Court through Video Conferencing from the Office of the Public Prosecutor. On enquiry, she stated that originally, she was residing along with her father and brothers, however, due to some misunderstanding, she left to Coimbatore and was working in a Private Mill and after coming to know about the criminal case filed in Crime No.335 of 2020, on the file of the second respondent Police, she returned from Coimbatore and joined with her father and the petitioner herein.

3. In view of the above statement made by the detenue, no further adjudication is required in this habeas corpus petition and the same is, therefore, closed.
