Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 to 5 to reclassify the land in S. No.7/2 at Seekorani Village, Kalayarkoil Taluk, Sivagangai District and grand patta in favour of the petitioner's school by considering his representation dated 02.05.2024. Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner seeks issuance of patta for the petition mentioned land. It is presently classified as Arasu Poromboku / Oorani Mayanam. It is only the first respondent who can pass a final order. The second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application and forward the same to the first respondent along with his remarks. This shall be done by the second respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The first respondent shall consider the entire issue and dispose of the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months thereafter. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter.

3. The Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
