The petitioner has filed this Petition to direct the respondents not to harass him under the guise of enquiry.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the vehicle bearing Registration No.TN-45-BD-4767 is involved in a murder case in Crime No.41 of 2021, the respondent police went to the petitioner's house in search of the vehicle. The respondent police could not file final report on the requirement of the vehicle and therefore, they have made an attempt to find out whereabouts of the vehicle and for that reason only, they have visited the petitioner's house.
3. This Court considered the rival submissions made.
4. Since the respondent police claims that the vehicle is involved in murder case in Crime No.41 of 2021 and the final report could not be filed for want of vehicle, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with a direction to the petitioner to co-operate with the investigation agency.
