2 W.P.(MD)NO.14265 OF 2021 Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to take appropriate action against the respondents 4 and 5 for abusing/violating the official duties with regard to stoppage of water to the petitioner's agricultural cultivating land bearing survey No.469/1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 476/4, 477/2 situated at Ayyampulli Village, Palani Taluk, Dindigul District based on the representation of the petitioner dated 15.03.2021 and consequential letter of the first respondent dated 10.05.2021.

Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner's allegation is that the sixth respondent is wantonly blocking the petition-mentioned irrigation channel. Denying the said allegation, the sixth respondent undertakes before 2/4

3 W.P.(MD)NO.14265 OF 2021 us through his counsel that he will not at any point of time block the free flow of water through the petition-mentioned channel.

3. We record the said undertaking. If the undertaking is breached by the sixth respondent, it is duty of the revenue officials to clear the same. When it is brought to their notice either by the petitioner or anybody else that the sixth respondent has caused any such block, it will be removed at his cost. This writ petition stands allowed on these terms. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
