Heard both sides.
2. The learned Additional Government Pleader confirms that survey No.40, Bodinaickanpatti Village in Vadipatti Town Panchayat is a water body. Survey shall be undertaken by the fourth respondent. Notices shall be given to all the interested persons / stake holders / encroachers. It is stated that the sixth respondent is the authority competent to remove the encroachment. If the survey results indicate that there are encroachments in the water body, they shall be removed by the sixth respondent after giving due notice.
3. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
