ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to take steps to pay compensation amount to the petitioners as per the award dated 05.06.2023, by considering his representation dated 04.12.2024. 2.It is the case of the petitioners that the property situated in T.S.Nos.971, 972, 973, 974, 975, 976 and 981 measuring 611 sq.mt., in Melaveerarahavapuram Village, Tirunelveli Taluk, Tirunelveli District, were acquired by the respondents for railway project. Though the award was passed as early as on 04.12.2024, fixing compensation amount the same has not been paid to the petitioners. Therefore, they have come before this Court with the above said prayer.

3.When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, from the first respondent would submit that since there was a dispute with regard to the apportionment, steps have been taken to deposit the amount before the District Court, Tirunelveli. It is also stated that already e-filing has been done in receipt No.LTN20240003972C202400003. The said statement made by the learned Additional Government Pleader is recorded and the petitioners are at liberty to work out their remedy before the concerned Court. 2/4

4.With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
