*********** [Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.] The writ petitioner complains that the third respondent is indulging in illegal extraction of ground water from his well in Manalur, Thirupuvanam via, Sivagangai District and is transporting the same for commercial purposes.

2.The writ petitioner has given a representation in this regard to the authorities concerned. But no action has been taken.

3.This Court therefore directs the second respondent to enquire into the matter and pass appropriate order in accordance with law on the writ petitioner's representation dated 26.07.2017 within a period of eight weeks form the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
