O RDER This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.72 of 2022 on the file of the second respondent to some other Investigating Agency.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the tenant under the third respondent and without following the due process of law, the third respondent decided to evict the petitioner and took away gold jewels and other household articles and a sum of Rs.99,570/- belonging to the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has made a complaint before the second respondent Police and a case was registered in Crime No.72 of 2022 for the offence punishable under Sections 448, 380, 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) IPC. However, the second respondent Police has not conducted the investigation in a proper manner. Hence, this Petition has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 Police submits that during the pendency of this petition, the second respondent Police completed the investigation and the charge sheet is made ready.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that this Court may issue a direction to the second respondent Police to file a charge sheet within a time stipulated by this Court.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 Police, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. The second respondent Police is directed to file a charge sheet within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
