Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the impugned order made in Rc.No. A1/ 46/ 617 / SCRB/2019 dated 15.03.2019 passed by the 5th respondent and quash the same and 1/3

consequently direct the respondents to consider the petitioner for appointment to the post of Sub-Inspector of Police (Finger Print) For Petitioner : Mr.A.Syed Abdul Kather For Respondents : Mrs.J.Gunaseelan Muthiah, Additional Government Pleader

O R D E R

This Contempt Petition is filed to punish the respondents for wilful and deliberate disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P(MD)No.11916 of 2019 dated 15.05.2019.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the official respondents have filed a writ appeal in W.A(MD).No.1099 of 2020 and this Court, by order dated 14.12.2020, passed in C.M.P(MD).No.5983 of 2020, granted an order of interim stay.

3. Recording the same, this contempt petition is closed.
