(Order of the Court was made by K.KALYANASUNDARAM, J.) The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant parole to the petitioner's son, namely, Senthilmurugan, for a period of fifteen days, based on his representation dated 28.09.2020.
2. Mr.R.Anandharaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, takes notice for the respondents.

3. With the consent of both sides, the writ petition is taken up for final hearing at the time of admission itself.
4. Mr.R.Anandharaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, submitted that the representation of the petitioner, dated 28.09.2020, is under process and it would be considered in accordance with law.
5. In the light of the prayer sought for in this writ petition and the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 28.09.2020, and dispose of the same purely on merits and in accordance with law, after providing due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
