ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.) Alleging that substandard materials are used for laying the road from Ramaneri Street to Sankarankoil - Kovilpatti Main Road and to appoint a special officer to inspect and monitor the process of laying the road, the present Public Interest Litigation has been filed. 2.In the opinion of this Court, such an omni bus prayer cannot be granted in a Public Interest Litigation on the premise that substandard materials are likely to be used in the laying of the road. That apart, the Contractor concerned has also not been made as a party. In such view of the matter, we do not find any merit in this petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
