The petitioner seeks for a direction to the respondents to provide relief under the Chief Minister Relief Fund by considering her representation dated 13.02.2017.
2.Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admissions stage itself. 3.The petitioner would state that her husband, namely, Syed Ibrahim died in a road accident on 26.01.2010 and a criminal case was registered by the fourth respondent/Inspector of Police, Melur Police Station under Sections 279, 337, 304(A) IPC against the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
driver of the offending vehicle. The petitioner would further state that she is entitled relief under the Chief Minister relief fund. However, despite representation in person, no amount was given and therefore, she sent a representation on 13.12.2017. Even thereafter, no relief has been given. Hence, the present writ petition.
4.Considering the nature of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.02.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to all necessary parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
