Mr.S.Shanmugavel, Standing Counsel for the respondents informed the Court that the first respondent has passed an order by proceedings dated 06.07.2021, wherein it is stated that the petitioner has been imposed with a punishment of stoppage of increment for a period of one year and he is also directed to join duty within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of the order.

2. In view of the aforesaid order, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has becomes infructuous. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No order as to costs.
