Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to promote the petitioner to the post of Assistant with effect from 25.09.2012 and to the post of Deputy Block Development Officer with effect from 23.08.2016 with all consequential and monetary benefits by placing the petitioner before her immediate junior by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 07.06.2017 in the light of the proceedings of the first respondent in G.O.(1D) No.447, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (Pa-A-4) Department dated 19.08.2015.

ORDER

The petitioner has come before this Court seeking a direction to the respondents herein to promote the petitioner to the post of Assistant with effect from 25.09.2012 and to the post of Deputy Block Development Officer with effect from 23.08.2016, with all consequential and monetary benefits by placing the petitioner before https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

her immediate junior by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 07.06.2017, in the light of the proceedings of the first respondent in G.O.(1D) No.447, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (Pa-A-4) Department dated 19.08.2015.

2.By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.Heard Mr.D.Sivaraman, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.Muruganantham, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents.

4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the writ petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the matter hereby directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.06.2017, in the light of the proceedings of the first respondent in G.O.(1D) No.447, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (Pa-A-4) Department dated 19.08.2015, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
